DENTAL HEALTH TIPS:

DAILY ORAL CARE ROUTINE:

BRUSHING :
Brushing gently twice a day with soft bristles remove dental plaque and tartar from teeth. DELHI DARBAR would recommend ‘HERB-e-DARBAR’ tooth powder for daily brushing.

FLOSSING:
Flossing once daily, preferably before going to bed, removes plaque and decayed food stuck between the teeth and prevents irritation to the gums.

HEALTHY EATING:
Eat a balanced diet and limit snacks between meals. Avoid food with high sugar content such as chocolates and icecreams. Drink lots of water.

CHEWING:
Chewing Fennel seeds, Mouthfreshners, Paan or Sugarfree gum stimulates saliva that prevents oral cavities, cleans food debris in the mouth and relieves dry mouth discomfort. It raises pH level in the mouth and prevents mineral loss. CARROT MATTERS:

  • Carrot is rich in Beta-carotene and fiber content, which is highly helpful in combating various types of cancers;
  • Regular intake of carrots reduces cholesterol level and keeps the blood pressure in check. It also lowers the chances of heart attack and prevents any other heart related diseases;
  • It is rich in vitamin C and hence helps in improving poor eye sight.
  • Just one carrot a day can reduce a person’s risk of stroke by whopping 68%;
  • It is highly recommended for controlling blood sugar and is good for diabetic patients;
  • If taken in the form of juice, it improves stomach ailments and other gastrointestinal disorders, reduces stress levels as well as fight your fatigue;
  • it has natural antiseptic qualities and acts as a laxative;
  • those suffering from frequent diahorrhea should regularly take carrot soup as a remedy. It has a soothing effect on the bowls and controls the development of bacteria;
  • Carrot can even help in fighting with impotency, night blindness, cough and sexual dysfunction;
  • It’s the best way to fight cold during the winters and also strengthens the kidney.
